Siren – Some Dark Day

• “Some Dark Day” set to a picture of the housing album cover. Thanks to Lyle Tucker.

7.7 “Great Blues / Rhythm n Blues from England”

From their second album “Strange Locomotion” (Dandelion Records DAN-8001) released in 1971.

Greedy types, trashy women, meatheads and the church get it tight on this one, another mini-gem from the pen of Kevin Coyne.

With his strong sense of self as a guitar singer-songwriter, Kevin effortlessly rose above the countless thousands of strummers out there.

He was really starting to shine through at this time, and one or two numbers on this Siren LP were fine tasters for his strong solo efforts to come.
